Gutter clearing in Airdrie and North Lanarkshire
Cleared by hand, run by run, so the joints, brackets and outlets get looked at while the debris comes out. Every downpipe flushed through and the flow checked before I leave. Photos if you want to see what was up there.
Photo in, fixed price back the same day. No phone call needed.
What's included
Cleared by hand from the ladder where a ladder can be set safely, so the joints, brackets and outlets get looked at while the run is open. Where a ladder cannot be set safely, the run is cleared with a vacuum and poles from the ground, and the inline camera does the looking instead.
- Every run emptied by hand, moss and silt included, not just the loose leaves off the top.
- Debris bagged and taken away, nothing tipped into the borders or left on the path.
- Joints, brackets and outlets looked at while the run is empty, which is the only time you can see them.
- Every downpipe flushed through and the flow watched at the bottom before I leave.
- Before and after photos if you want them, because you cannot see up there from the ground.

About this job
What counts as a side?
One run of gutter along one face of the house. A terraced house or a small semi usually has two that matter, front and back. A detached house has four. It is priced that way because that is how the work actually divides up, and it means you are not paying for a side that has nothing wrong with it.
What happens if a downpipe turns out to be blocked?
Flushing every downpipe through is standard and it is in the price. If one turns out to be properly blocked rather than just slow, clearing it is a separate job from £20, and it is free when you book the gutters and the fascias together. You get told before any extra work happens, not after.
Do you work off a ladder or from the ground?
Whichever is right for the house. A ladder where one can be set safely, because clearing by hand lets me look at the joints and brackets while the run is empty. Where a ladder cannot go safely, the run is cleared with a vacuum and poles from the ground, and the camera goes up instead of me.
The rest of the roofline
I only do the roofline under this name: gutters, fascias, soffits and small repairs. Everything else outside the house — windows, driveways, roof cleaning, solar panels, conservatories — goes through ClearSky Window Cleaning. Same person, same van, same phone. It's just a different part of the round.
Where I work
Send a photo. Get a price today.
Stand back on the driveway, get the roofline in the frame, and send it with your postcode. You'll have one fixed number back the same day, and if it honestly doesn't need doing yet, I'll tell you that instead.
